My name is Dan Marcon owner of Marc-On Shooting School. I began early in my life enrolling in the U.S. Military spending 5 years active. I graduated from Chippewa Valley Tech College with a Degree in Police Science. Further expanding my proficiency and knowledge by working for Executive International Security. I also gain valuable experience in being on a 8hr Response Team for North America. There I learned the leadership skills through leading 5 one hundred-fifty man details. I taught personal protection, tactical operations, surveillance, team driving, private security details. I have worked for the Wisconsin Department of Corrections since 2003. I trained on the departments Emergency Response Unit and Special Operations Group for several years. I hold National Rifle Associations Instructor Certifications in F.I.R.S.T., Basic Pistol Orientation, Personal Protection Inside The Home, Personal Protection Outside The Home and I am an instructor for Minnesota's Permit To Carry.

Registration & Weapon Check Starts @ 7 am
This Class is a Pre-Pay Pre- Register class. A questioner will be sent out after you have registered and paid. Please return it as soon as possible. There is no pre-qualification for this course, But you should have basic knowledge of hand guns and hand gun safety. Your own weapon is recommended, however we may have one you can rent. Please contact us before hand. We will be going over basic gun safety and advance gun safety & maintaining your weapon, the range layout and what will be expected, any Medical concerns or special needs then We will go through everything from drawing your weapon, to shooting @ your target. We will also shoot from strong side, weak side, Wounded hand load and unload, this will all be done from a holster. After all that we will move into multiple shots different stances, different positions multiple targets, different shooting positions, engaging targets from cover and concealment, moving and shooting, Drawing from concealment and shooting from concealment. Braking tunnel vision, tactical and speed reloads. Plus much more if time allows. We will try to fit this all in in 8 hours we will break for lunch and take breaks through out the day. The cost of the course is $185 (a portion will be made to a local non-profit charity) this will include Lunch, Soda, Water, Targets and a window decal and patch. ( We will also have free drawings through out the day for items) And @ the end of the course you will receive a certificate of completion. A list of things you will need: Pistol, Ammo (300-400 rounds), Ear and Eye protection, brimmed hat, Comfortable shoes, extra magazines (at least 1 total of 2 should have 3) Holster (No shoulder or Ankle) for weapon (Mag holster would be beneficial also) Concealable shirt or light jacket State issued ID, knee pads are optional. Do not wear sandals or shorts please. We will be on the ground. We will be limited to 22 people due to safety and space. The first 22 people paid in full are in. No refunds.
